Our love for adventure began long before SUPAVAN® existed
Anyone who spent their childhood camping in tents, campers, or caravans. Knows the distinctive smell of butane gas, the tent canvas interiors or poking your head through the tent zip at 7am and smelling the sweet wet grass can transport you back through time instantly. The sounds, and smells of the great outdoors stayed with us too and we knew every memory triggered was trying to communicate something to us. We had to apply those joyful memories to our next venture and get next level creative.
We looked at the camping market and saw an endless array of perfectly executed products and services competing for space. We even explored distributorships and converted a van ourselves in 2023, which was a lot of fun. But still, the competition was fierce and we know start ups are notoriously difficult in crowded markets.
So almost out of ideas we happened to speak to a young chap at a local company who had booked 3 months off on the office year planner to go around Europe with a second hand roof tent and just enough money for fuel and food.
Some Things Are Meant To Be
Hear we were looking how to finance £100k plus van builds when what we really should be doing is serving the younger adventure market. This sparked an idea: a roof-mounted camping pod that was accessible, lightweight, and customisable — a product that could grow with you from your first adventure as a teenager, through the decades as you pass on your love of the great outdoors to your children. And that is exactly how the SUPAVAN AIRDREAM® — was born. Devine inspiration delivered us a clear path through simple design to achieving a first to market concept not found anywhere else.
After an exhaustive worldwide patent search and hours of research, we discovered the truth, that nobody had done this before. That was our lightbulb moment — the instant we knew we would create something entirely unique, a product that fills a gap the world didn’t even know it had, and one that would redefine what’s possible for adventure, travel, and freedom. Inspiring you to never stop dreaming.

OUR JOURNEY SO FAR
SUPAVAN AIRDREAM® is born.
In April 2025, we built the first SUPAVAN AIRDREAM® from plywood. It was a proof of concept — and one that confirmed our original vision was right. The dimensions, proportions, and overall feel were remarkably close in the begining. From there, we refined the design using computer-generated renders and 3D-printed models, perfecting the signature side profile and functional details. The gullwing doors quickly became a defining feature — practical, bold, and instantly recognisable. Today, we are testing the first run of pods made from vacuum-formed recycled plastic. Double skin insulated panel components bonded together that create an exceptionally strong yet ultra-light shell. The final structure weighs sub 50kg, delivering a durable detachable shell clamped to a sub trailer base with off road 4×4 wheels and tyres to help you get off grid with ease.
The pods and trailers are now in manufacture and release dates are early 2027, we just have to carry out final tests, assuring the quality aligns with our commitment to our customers. Then polish off the branding, build number assignment and customer handover then pods are good to go.
The Future and our promise.
As the SUPAVAN AIRDREAM® pods will become advertisements themselves as they sit on cars and vans in holiday destinations. That is our marketing sorted thanks to our amazing future customers.
So it seems only fair we plan to work hard on the catalogue of cool stuff to buy to enhance @Supavanlife. We also want to assure everyone that the core SUPAVAN AIRDREAM® pod unit size and shape will be the same in 50 years as it is today. Becoming the iconic SUPAVAN® design it truly deserves.
Production & Pre-Orders
Production has begun, with the first customer collections scheduled for early 2027 from our Cheshire base a mile from J20 of the M6. Demand for both the rooftop and trailer-mounted SUPAVAN AIRDREAM® is expected to be high.
